How can you create an audience of buyers on social media - without buying expensive ads?

In this episode, I share a training I recently did for our HerBusiness community.

I give you four things you can do NOW to start growing a profitable audience on social media without spending money on ads and even if, up until now, you haven’t been able to turn many of your followers into buyers.

I think you’ll find this four-part process really easy to implement. While it’s not simple, it’s a formula that our HerBusiness Network Members use daily to get new clients and use social media more strategically.

Because who has time to spend a lot of time posting and going live and sharing… if it’s not going to lead people to become customers, eventually?
Plus, I will share how you can land your next client next week when you join me for our fabulous “Get New Clients” Coaching program.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • How to ‘show up’ so that your ideal clients know that you are the right solution for the challenge they are experiencing and the solution they are seeking
  • Why knowing and understanding your ideal client deeply is an essential step in turning followers, readers, subscribers and prospects into buyers.
  • The four things you MUST say when you introduce yourself (in person, in your emails, on your website, on social platforms) to instantly create a connection with your ideal clients so that they want to buy from you
  • Why you’re missing out on sales and not getting people saying “YES”
  • Go from feeling uncomfortable asking for the sale to effortlessly owning your value

Getting new clients often starts with Showing Up.

You're visible when you're showing up, putting your hand up for things, and saying yes to opportunities.

SHOWING UP is about knowing what your GOALS and VISION are - where the goalposts are.

That means you KNOW HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF and explain what you do in a way that demonstrates how you help people.

This means you know who YOUR IDEAL CLIENT is.

You're clear on their pain points and HOW YOU HELP resolve them.

And you have a way that you help them that GETS RESULTS.

In addition, you're prepared to invest in getting to know others and building rapport and how you can help them.

And you get in the game with an OPEN MINDSET, open to OPPORTUNITIES and COLLABORATION.

So, how do you get there?

You have a PLAN, and an intention for the RESULTS YOU WANT to get.

You're clear on your strengths and what you bring to the situation.

And you show up prepared.

But, SHOWING UP isn't always easy, even for the most outgoing women.

SHOWING UP CONSISTENTLY can be tricky, too, when we have so many competing demands.

You'll enjoy this episode if you want to:

  • Move from feeling isolated to feeling connected
  • Feel like you're shouting into a vacuum any time you want to promote your products or services
  • Want to finally feel comfortable that you have value to offer and that your ideal clients are waiting for you to show up
  • Go from feeling uncomfortable to feeling like there's always a friend in the room when you are at networking events

Karina Pellicone of Plum Petal hit a six-figure revenue milestone in April 2022. After launching her wholesale website and business model, she’s grown her jewellery business 75% from the previous year.

But this shift in revenue to her jewellery business didn’t happen overnight.

It took seeing some incremental growth in her eCommerce store and then deliberately deciding to work with a new type of ideal client. A change to focus on business-to-business transactions in addition to her direct-to-consumer eCommerce business has significantly shifted her revenue and results.

In this episode, Karina shares:

  • The two MARKETING STRATEGIES Karina used to go from a five-figure business to over $100k
  • How understanding her ideal client helps Karina SELL MORE of her products
  • What gave her the COURAGE and INSPIRATION to start a whole new income stream in her business
  • Why she no longer does the things she's not good at and how she's building a team that FREES UP HER TIME
  • The roles she considers the MOST important for giving her leverage and time back for herself and her family
  • The unexpected and surprising gift that came out of the pandemic

To grow your business, you have to stop being the one making every business decision. Making ALL the decisions is exhausting.

And if you've ever gotten to the end of the day and thought… "Oh… I can't even decide what I want for dinner. Someone just feed me, please! And bring me a glass of wine while you're at it."… you might be suffering from decision fatigue.

Being stuck making all the decisions is a common pain point for small business owners (especially if you're a solopreneur). You stop being the one who has to make EVERY SINGLE DECISION by putting the right systems and processes in place for your marketing, planning, your team, and more.

Inside of HerBusiness, we have a framework called the HerBusiness Growth Zones®. It's a framework that helps you focus on what will help your business grow and succeed. And, it is essential to go from being a solopreneur to growing a small business and then on to being an entrepreneur with a growing and scalable business.

We've used these 8 Growth Zones as the basis for our business success. They are also the foundation for our mentoring programs, which we've been running since 1998. So we know they work.

One of those Growth Zones is PEOPLE.

The People Growth Zone incorporates how you hire people, train them, motivate them and even decide when it's the right time to grow or shrink your team.

It also relates to your extended team - consultants, designers, copywriters - your bookkeeper - all the people that support you in getting things done and whom you need to lead and motivate. And you may have experienced some "people" challenges in your business.

Either not having enough people, so you keep getting pulled into doing the low-level work, or not feeling like you can afford people, or not sure how to train them. Or perhaps you are on the brink of hiring a team and want to know how to avoid the heartache and expense that can come when you don't get this right.

Regardless, changing how you think about decisions, what you do (and what you don't) decide and your mindset around getting others to help make decisions is the core of this episode.

Because you can't do everything yourself. Not if you want to grow a sustainable, profitable business.

You'll enjoy this episode if you want to:

  • Stop doing everything yourself
  • Move out of the 'technician' role (where you do everything) to the manager or leader role
  • Spend more time working ON your business than IN your business
  • Stop being exhausted from decision fatigue
  • Have time to do some of the things you don't currently have time for because you're so busy
